Australia in June awaits!

You may think that the season will be over after the Winter Swimming World Championships, well, it’s not, Australia awaits!

As you may already have seen or read, Australia was one of the countries that joined us in 2016, and they are ready to start of with their first international event, the Australian Series 2018.

A 4 day event, which will occur in Sydney, Australia, from June 14, 2018 to June 17, 2018, organized by the Winter Swimming Association of Australia and the Bondi Icebergs club. There will be 3 locations available to swim:


1. North Sydney Pool (picture to the left),

2. Bondi Icebergs Pool (picture to the right),

3. Bondi Bay (picture to the right, behind the pool).

Amazing locations with stunning views.

Swimmers will be able to compete in these distances: 50, 100, 200, 400 meter freestyle; 50m breaststroke; 4x50m freestyle team relay; 750 and 1500 meter endurance swims. The program for this event as follows:

Thursday 14th June 2018

Welcome Cocktail Party at Icebergs Bondi

6PM - 9PM

Friday 15th June 2018

Winter Swimming Championships at North Sydney Pool

8AM - 1PM

Saturday 16th June 2018

Winter Swimming Championships at Bondi Icebergs Pool

8AM - 1PM

Sunday 17th June 2018

Bondi Bay Ocean Swim 750 or 1500 metre swim

8AM - 9AM

Gala Dinner Awards Night

6PM - 11PM
