We are glad to inform you that this year there will be 6 stages of the IWSA World Cup, one more than the previous year.
As in the last season, Jelgavas Roņi Cup in Latvia will be the first event and the starting stage of the IWSA World Cup from 4th to 5th November. The second stage will be a brand new event in Vladivostok, Russia called “1st Russian Pacific Winter Swimming Open Cup” from 18th to 20th November. It will be a great opportunity to visit the far east of Russia and enjoy unique swims. The third stage is the “5th Big Chill Swim” in beautiful Lake Windermere, United Kingdom from 8th to 10th December. From 14th to 15th January 2017 you can take part in the “6th International Festival For Winter Swimming in Springs” in Zaozhuang, China, as the fourth stage of the IWSA World Cup. The fifth stage is the “6th Scandinavian Winter Swimming Championships” held in Skellefteå, Sweden from 10th to 12th February. And the last stage of the IWSA World Cup is the “8th Winter Swimming Festival Pirita Open” in Tallinn Estonia, which will conclude the IWSA Winter Swimming season.
